Cookie policy
Last updated: 28 October 2026.
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used at cricwords.com.
Essential storage
The game saves your progress, settings, coins and your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (for example the key cwm:v1), and keeps a service-worker cache so the game loads quickly and works offline. These are needed for the game to work and are not used for tracking.
Advertising cookies
Google and its advertising partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers to show and measure ads and, if you consent, to personalise them. If you do not consent, we ask for non-personalised ads, which do not use your past browsing to choose the ad. See the Privacy policy for how to opt out via Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info.
Analytics cookies
With your consent, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga) to count visits and see how the game is used. Without consent, no analytics cookies are set.
Fonts and hosting
Google Fonts and Cloudflare may log your IP address when delivering fonts and pages. Cloudflare may set security cookies to protect the site from abuse.
Managing your choices
- Use Cookie settings (also in the game menu) to change your ad-cookie choice.
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site data in their settings. Blocking essential storage may stop the game saving your progress.
